The Patris Health® Allergy Home Test is a certified self-diagnostic test for detecting Immunoglobulin E (IgE) antibodies in whole blood, a clinical sign of an allergy.

Testing is valuable if you are experiencing allergy symptoms and are unsure if you have an allergy. If IgE concentration is elevated, you have an allergy.

The test is at least 97.03% accurate and has been used for over 10 years in hospitals and laboratories. It is manufactured in France according to ISO13485 and approved by the European authorities for self-testing.

Important! The test is not suitable for children under six years of age. Moreover, the test will not show which allergen is causing the allergy.

Key Facts

Often, based on the symptoms alone, it is impossible to determine whether an allergic reaction is occurring in the body.

Symptoms such as sneezing, running nose, cough, skin redness, rashes, stomach problems etc. can be associated with various non-allergy conditions.

Checking the level of IgE antibodies can help you determine if the cause of symptoms is an allergy.

Interpretation of the Results

Results are interpreted visually as positive, negative or invalid.

The Colour intensity of the test line and control line can be different. If the line is visible, you should take the result into account.

Positive result: Control (C) and Test (T) lines appear.

  • An increased concentration of IgE antibodies in the blood indicates an allergy.
  • Consult your doctor about further examination to find out to which allergen (substance) you are allergic.

Negative result: Only a Control line (C) appears.

  • The concentration of IgE antibodies is not elevated.
  • Probably you do not have an allergy.
  • If symptoms persist, consult your doctor for laboratory examination.

Invalid result: Invalid result appears if you do not carefully follow instructions for use. Please take a photo of such a test result and contact us at help@patris-health.com

Frequently Asked Questions about the Patris Health® Allergy Home Test

What is the role of IgE antibodies in diagnosing an allergy?

Allergy is determined as an abnormal immune response to allergens (non-infectious environmental substances).1

When the body gets in contact with a specific allergen, the body’s immune system produces specific IgE antibodies. The immune system releases these IgE antibodies in the blood, which attach to specific cells that release chemicals, causing an allergic reaction.2

Therefore, when IgE antibodies are present in the blood, it means you have an allergy.
